I love Autumn! I love the nights getting longer, wearing tights and skirts, the crisp burgundy and russet colours that take over both nature and the runways... *sighs*
I know for some people Autumn starts on the 1st of September, others not until mid-October. For me it's around the middle-to-the-end of September mark, but I thought that I would get a head start this year, as I've promised to blog more!
So, today I thought I would do a mash-up of a few tags, the Autumn-Licious Tag and the Autumn Tag, as well as adding a few picks of my own!
1)
What is your favourite Autumn Nail Polish?
For me this to be my Essie Nail Paint in "Exotic Liras" and my two 17 metallic nail polishes!
I love the Essie colour, as it's bright and fun, but also seems more of a "grown-up" pink. I think that this will really go with most of my autumn wardrobe, dries really quickly, and has the most gorgeous glossy finish! I have chosen my two well-loved 17 polishes because I love doing a pretty accent nail in Autum, and this shiny silver and pretty rose-gold are perfect!
2) What is your most-worn Autumn piece of jewellery?
I just had to choose this ring, as it's absolutely gorgeous, and I got it for a complete bargain! It is from the Topshop jewellery line, which I've always really liked, but I always thought that it was quite over-priced. However, when I saw that there was a sale on, I decided to pop in, and I picked up this ring for £2.50 from £6.99, which I thought was great!
3) Favourite Autumn Accessory.
It has to be my beloved mustard satchel! I bought this around 2-3 years ago from Urban Outfitters, and it has served me amazingly well since then! When my Dad bought it for me as an early birthday present, I thought it was a little steep at £50, however, it's real leather, and I've worn it literally every day since then, so I think that it's paid me back!
4) Favourite Autumn Cheek and Lip Product.
I really love my benefit Posie Tint, as it is so pretty and gives you that pop of rosy colour on your cheeks, which is perfect for Autumn! The packaging is adorable and it's just a great, all-round product that I would definitely recommend!
I don't really wear much on my lips in Autumn as I love doing my eyes really pretty (I'm not including any eye products on this post as I've scheduled an Autumn Eye Tutorial post really soon), so I either apply Posie Tint to give a really pretty, natural looking lip, or apply my trusty, heavenly-smelling Vaseline Lip Therapy with Cocoa Butter!
5) What is your favourite Autumn Candle/scent?
I'm not allowed candles in my bedroom, so for this question I will do my favourite perfume and lighting-type-thing!
So, my Autumn fragrance of choice is my CK One, the multi-gender classic, which, for me, is
the smell of autumn! It's the fragrance that my scarf always smells of, which is always a good thing, right? I've also featured my pretty little lantern fairy lights, which make my room feel really special and cosy as I fall asleep!
6) What is your favourite Autumn beverage?
I have to choose Hot Chocolate, and my favourite is the galaxy bubbles one, as it tastes so silky and luxurious without being too rich, and is only 40 calories!
7) What is your most worn Autumn piece of clothing?
I love my Johnnie b grey cardigan, as it's really warm and snuggly, and makes any outfit feel more cosy and Autumn-y!
8) What is on your Autumn playlist?
My favourite band EVER are Arctic Monkeys, I swear I just love every single one of their songs, and their new album is coming out on Monday, so I think that that will be playing a lot through Autumn for me! Also, any song from
The Queen is Dead by The Smiths is amazing, and makes me feel really warm, so that will be on repeat through the colder months!
9) What is your favourite Autumn magazine?
I love Company Magazine as it's has interesting articles on fashion, beauty and DIYs! I also love the feel of the paper, the photography and the fact it can fit in your handbag!
10) What will be your most-used app in Autumn?
I have to go with youtube, as I am a tad obsessed by it! My favourite youtubers are: SprinkleofGlitter, Zoella, Tanya Burr, FluerDeForce, Miss Glamorazzi, Tyler Oakley, PointlessBlog, Thatcher Joe, Jim Chapman, MacBarbie07... haha!
