Blogtober Day 2: Beauty Secrets Under £2?

Hello everyone, and welcome to day 2 of my Blogtober series! (Catch Day 1 here )

Today I am going to be sharing with you my top Beauty Secrets that can be purchased under £2!


1) Sinful Colours

Sinful Colors HAD to make this list as they're some of the best and most affordable nail polishes available! The colour above is "Cloud 9", which is a glittery orange- perfect for Autumn! (watch out for a Halloween Nail Art Tutorial featuring this bad boy!) At £1.99 it is a complete steal, and available to buy at your local Boots! I would totally recommend this brand, and this shade, and I am hoping to purchase some more as soon as possible!

2) OPI Shatter

Now, I know you're thinking inside your pretty little heads "But OPI polishes are about £12, why is she featuring these?". Well, imagine my excitement at find stashes of discontinued OPI Shatter Polishes in Poundland *swoons then faints*. I went and picked three colours up, and have used them trustily ever since!

This, I believe is from the Nicki Minaj range, and is called "Superbass Shatter". It goes really well over my Essie polish in "Exotic Liras".

This is from the Spider Man Range, and is a gorgeous green and silver shatter called "Shatter the Scales".

This is just a plain black shatter, but really effective. It's called "Black Out".
These were great bargains, so get on down to your local Poundland, as I've seen Stila and Rimmel products on sale there!

3) MUA Lipsticks

MUA is an amazingly affordable brand, with lipsticks costing £1! I've got a lipstick in Shade 01, a vibrant red, which is perfect for Autumn/Winter!

I will do a more in-depth review of this, but as much as I love the price, range and colour, it doesn't dry too well, if not at all, which makes it a little difficult to work with! To be fair, at that price who can argue?

I also love the cute little pot at the bottom wit extra product in!
4) Impulse

I picked up this amazingly scented new Impulse for 97p at Superdrug a week or so ago, and I now think that they've gone up to the usual price (£1.99). I love Impulse, to me it's the smell of teenage years haha:) This one smells delicious and has become a permanent fixture in my everyday routine!
